A home is available for rent on a weekly basis in a very nice subdivision about 1 mile from Providence hospital in Anchorage Alaska (Google Earth 2449 Glenwood Street). The home is located in Rogers Park subdivision, just off of the Chester Creek Trail System. The trail system provides a convenient off-street commute to the university and hospital via bike or walking if desired. This trail is lit and groomed for skiing in the winter.
This home is situated with a small private yard and a larger yard shared with my family, it is a park-like setting with gardens and a small pond.
The home is sunny, newly remodeled with hardwood floors throughout the upstairs and carpet down stairs. The home is furnished and would be perfect for two traveling health care workers, one living upstairs and one down. Each floor has its own laundry facilities, bath, a full bath upstairs and a 3/4 bath down. The two would share a common kitchen although the downstairs has a limited kitchen facility: microwave, sink, and small refrigerator. And outdoor gas grill is also provided. The downstairs has its own entrance off the kitchen. Cable TV and facility maintenance (snow shoveling, mowing, and garbage removal are provided, and a bi-weekly cleaning service is also included. Bikes are available for use in the summer months. This space is available $360/week for the basement, $440/week for the upstairs. A minimum 4 week stay is required.
